Legislator Roundtable with Reset Tech

We were delighted to host our latest legislator roundtables today, discussing how countries around the world are dealing with harmful content circulating online.

Thank you to Poppy Wood from Reset Tech who provided an international comparison of online safety regulations in the UK, EU, Ireland, Australia, Canada and Germany.

So many important questions were raised as legislators discussed how to identify, define prioritise types of harmful content, how countries are taking different approaches on takedown requirements, and how to specifically protect children from malicious content.

We continue to be grateful for the widespread interest from parliamentarians, with participants joining us from across four continents, including legislators from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Slovakia, Taiwan and the UK.

These conversations continue to be a unique opportunity for legislators to share both concerns and best practices, and we look forward to many more in the future.
