IFET and UNESCO sign MOU on AI Ethics

Darren Jones, co-founder of the Interparliamentary Forum on Emerging Technologies, and Gabriela Ramos, Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between their respective organisations last week.

Signed at ITU’s AI for Good Summit in Geneva, the MOU builds on IFET’s work promoting UNESCO’s Recommendations on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, the first ever global standard on AI ethics which has been signed up to by all 193 of its member states.

IFET looks forward to working with Gabriela and her team to support legislators around the world on the ethical implementation of AI.
